Norfolk Transmission and Muffler

My transmission was acting up,sticking in second gear. My first plan was to take it to a local shop.He said that I needed a new transmission and it would about $3,000 or a little more.I decided to have Norfolk Transmission look at it. It did not need a new transmission! It cost me $670 to fix it! And it works better than ever! Great service polite helpful staff! In the future if I have any more trouble I will go directly to Norfolk Transmission!

The professionalism exhibited by the managment, employees and accounting office were of the best that I have experienced in an auto repair environment. The knowledge of the Drive and Diagnostic serviceman was at the highest level. I would guess that he does all the extra education possible to make his job both easier, faster and more thorough. The mechanic was fast, efficient and took great care to clean and install only the necessary parts needed to make the repair. His thoroughness was equally impressive. The managment was took great steps to accomadate the customer and the time to explain what the possiblities of the diagnosis meant. The accounting dept. was both courteous and effecient. A very good experience when one was expecting to spend a great deal of money. I would recommend this shop to anyone, both those who have mechanical knowledge and those who do not. GREAT JOB

Very pleased with service and always informed on parts and price of repair job

I could not be happier with the service I recieved yesterday at Norfolk Transmission and Muffler. I called at 4:00 in the afternoon and at 5:30 that evening my repair was done. I especially liked the fact that these people repaired the problem instead of just replacing parts which would have created more revenue for the shop. This is the sign of a true technician and not a retail parts replacement service center like the big shops. Reminds of the days gone by. Thank you very much.

We needed to have our transmission fluid checked on our 2002 Pontiac. When I called to make the appointment, I was greeted with a friendly voice both by the receptionest as well as the technician that took my request. He made my appointment in a timely manner and got my car in on-time and out equally in the time frame he had specified. I would recommend Norfolk Transmission for all who need their services. This is not the first time we have used Norfolk Transmission's services - they are a good bunch to do business with.

I appreciated the services of Norfolk Transmission and Muffler when my van stopped working one month after having a new transmission installed by another dealer. NTM identified the problem quickly (bad sensor) and replaced it immediately while I waited and did as much as possible under warranty so that I didn't pay a cent. If a problem comes up again, I'll definitely see them first!
